Waikiki vacation rentals are the best way to travel in Waikiki if you have a family.  This picture is of the Waikiki coastline and beaches.  It's beautiful taking a stroll along the beaches and enjoying the ocean and beautiful hotels.  Waikiki vacation rentals offer many 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom condos.  If you need a 3 bedroom condo it will be a little harder to find but still possible.  One can even find some great monthly vacation rentals in the Waikiki area.  The newer properties are closer to the Ala Moana Shopping Mall and the older properties are in the heart of Waikiki.  If you are looking to travel to Waikiki for 1 month than there are many properties that will actually rent for 1 month.  There are a lot of properties that actually have a 30 day restriction because the HOA doesn't want the owners in that building to rent for less than 30 days.  These would be great options for the 1 month - 2 month vacationer.

Kailua vacation rentals are a great place to stay especially since Kailua does not have any hotels or motels.  This is a great beach to get kayaking rentals and windsurfing rentals. There are 5 miles of sandy beach in Kailua and if you are traveling with kids make sure to check out Kaiula Beach park as it is the only spot that has a lifeguard.
